Meet The Doctors

Dr. Andrew Torchio

CEO/Clinic Director

Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Andrew received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management and Water Resources from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Andrew received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. In his last life, he worked at a research and development facility for the world’s second largest pharmaceutical company. After 1 year, he left big pharma in search of a better way for health and discovered CHIROPRACTIC.

Four things consume the majority of Dr. Andrew’s time: his wife and 2 girls, his work, playing on his 7 acre family farm and the outdoors. Dr. Andrew is extremely passionate about what he does. He and Dr. Ashley attend conferences, research, and advance the chiropractic profession and their mission to set people free.

Outside of work, Dr. Andrew loves catch and release fly-fishing, camping, public speaking, and spending time with his dogs and family.

Dr. Ashley Campbell

COO/Clinic Director

Dr. Ashley was born and raised in Spencer, Iowa and completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She knew her purpose in life and work should be on the same path – to teach people.

Dr. Ashley emulates the discipline of healthy living, from diet to exercise. She is certified in many pediatric and pre/post natal chiropractic techniques. She is passionate about teaching and serving families.

Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, 2 girls (India and Franki), hiking, kayaking, snowboarding and gardening on her farm. Dr. Ashley loves children and inspires those around her to feel safe and uplifted. In the summer, you will find her cruising the shoreline of one of Central Oregon’s lakes in her classic 1976 ski boat. Her teammates describe her as passionate with a nurturing and protective spirit.

Dr. Brianna Husby

Clinical Director

Originally from the hills of Northern California, Dr. Bri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Sciences from Cal Poly State University. Having a passion for working with both animals and people in a holistic healthcare setting, she chose to pursue a career as a Chiropractor, and graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic license from Life Chiropractic College West.

Dr. Bri’s philosophy regarding healthcare is that every person has the innate ability to thrive. By tracing symptoms back to the root cause of an issue and addressing the most core component of disease and dysfunction, she helps her patients develop a plan for living their best truly healthy and pain-free lifestyle.

When she’s not serving patients at Pangea, you’ll usually see Dr. Bri riding horses or on a hiking trail with her husband Max and her cattle dog Maeve. She also loves bringing the latest research to her community in the form of workshops on nutrition, brain health and living a stress-free life.

Dr. Brent Torchio

Clinic Doctor

Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Brent is grateful to reside and serve Central Oregon. Dr. Brent joined the Pangea team on Doctors in 2020 and brings a spark of enthusiasm and joy to the clinical setting.

At a young age, he began to understand the importance of family, community and health on a deeper level. Enthralled by nature, He is an avid outdoorsman and is deeply rooted in nature. Dr. Brent spends his free time fishing, exploring the PNW and hiking with Sarah (spouse) and his 2 golden retrievers (Beau and Cowboy). After graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a BA in BioBehavoral Health, he began his chiropractic career at Life West University where grew in his understanding of the body and human potential. He is excited for the opportunity to serve this community and share his expertise on human performance and potential through Chiropractic care!

Dr. Tyge Shelby

Clinic Doctor

An Oregonian from the start, Dr. Tyge did his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University before attending Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2001. After graduating he moved back to his home State and opened a chiropractic clinic to serve the community of Bend.

After 10 successful years, he and his wife, Alyssa, decided to sell the practice to another doctor and go on an epic adventure abroad. They lived and traveled in Asia for six amazing years. During that time they had countless adventures…. and two kids. In 2021 they decided it was time to move home and serve the Bend community once more.

Dr. Tyge has a passion for natural health, and recreating outdoors. When not serving patients, you can find him on the trails, on the mountain, or out at Smith Rock. He is incredibly grateful for this community he calls home, and the opportunity to not only help his patients get well, but to empower them to stay well for a lifetime.

Kara Chinchen

Office Manager

Born in Wisconsin, Kara’s life has been anything but boring. Although she has experienced living in many regions of the country, Bend has been home for 23 years. Kara is the mother of 3 to whom her life has been dedicated. In her free time she enjoys connecting with nature, gardening, reading, snowboarding, spontaneous road trips and laughing with friends and family. Kara has a special aptitude for working with people and has always known she wants to create a life centered around helping others.

Irie Spaethe

Chiropractic Assistant

Born and raised an Oregonian, Irie earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in public health: preclinical from Portland State University. During these four years, she dedicated a good portion of her time to volunteering for various organizations, where she found that she is energized by the positivity and excitement that stems from making a meaningful impact in the lives of those you can serve. Upon graduating, she spent six months in New Zealand exploring a new culture and fulfilling her need to travel. Since then, she has returned to Central Oregon in hopes of putting her degree to use and serving the community once again. She has begun doing just that since starting at Pangea Chiropractic.

Cindy McGrath

Financial Director

Cindy was a patient for several years before becoming an employee. “It is so rewarding to be able to watch people lead more fulfilling lives – to be able to participate in activities they thought were behind them due to physical limitations. Include me in that group!”

Cindy and her husband Tom, have lived in Bend for 9 years. She enjoys spending time with her kids and grandkids going on hikes, bike rides, and spending time outdoors. When she’s not with her family, you’ll find Cindy traveling with Tom or some of her close friends.
